SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface preparation

The surface must be smooth, dry and clean; prepare a uniform base with the GIOLLI primer specified for the system.
Before application, check substrate moisture, soundness and compatibility with the existing coating. Remove all weak, blistered or poorly adhering material.
APPLICATION

Application instructions

Depending on the desired effect, apply with a brush, trowel, spatula or special decorative tool. A sample area and continuous application by the same applicator are recommended.
Important: The exact dilution, coverage, drying time, number of coats and application temperature must be verified in the current GIOLLI TDS.
Safety: Use suitable personal protective equipment during application and follow the SDS instructions.

Industrial coating system

For industrial products, consider the substrate type, mechanical load, corrosion risk and service environment. The system may be selected as primer + intermediate coat + topcoat.

Prepare the surface to the required mechanical preparation grade.

Remove oil, salts, dust and corrosion products.

Select the appropriate GIOLLI primer and topcoat combination.

Recoating intervals and mixing instructions must be followed only according to the product TDS.
